II.1.4) Short description: This framework is for the supply of ductile iron pipe & fittings for all applications to Scottish Water.
The scope shall comprise; design, manufacture, supply, works testing, delivery to site and possible offloading within this document.
Ductile iron pipe and fittings must comply with BS EN 545:2006 for clean water application and BS EN 598 for waste water application.
Products supplied must comply with the requirements of section 27 of the Water Supply (Water Quality) (Scotland) Regulations 2001.
Ductile iron pipes & fittings shall be received ready to lay and pipe diameters up to 315mm shall have a secured fixed end cap protection, with pipework 350mm dia and above shall be securely fitted with shower cap or heavy-duty polythene sheeting. Compliance to DOMs site instructions and procures is mandatory.

II.2.4) Description of procurement: This framework is for the supply of ductile iron pipe & fittings for all applications to Scottish Water.

The scope to specifications and standards detailed within this document, supply shall comprise of the design, manufacture, supply, works testing, delivery to site and possible offloading within this document.

This scope shall include on project work, a requirement of suppliers to provide expertise and guidance on most suitable and efficient use of the products within the agreement to enable media transfer.

Ductile iron pipe and fittings must comply with BS EN 545:2006 for clean water application and BS EN 598 for waste water application.
Products supplied must comply with the requirements of section 27 of the Water Supply (Water Quality) (Scotland) Regulations 2001. [N.B. this is the same as section 31 of the regulations for England and Wales]

Framework agreement supplier(s) shall assist management of this agreement by carrying out monthly auditing on the quality of jointing carried out by SW’s contractors.
It is a condition of award that Framework agreement supplier(s) will challenge presented specifications on projects in order to drive efficiency and benefits.
