      II.2.4) Description of procurement: Scottish Water is looking to appoint supply chain partner(s) to provide a variety of modular Water Sampling Kiosks. The kiosks shall be assembled in a ‘factory’ environment producing tested and fully functional units of a standardised and repeatable design for delivery to site ready for off-loading to a pre-prepared foundation slab or final installation area.

The Scottish Water area covers all mainland and islands of Scotland including urban and rural locations. It is preferable that framework suppliers shall be able to deliver pan Scotland, though successful suppliers shall be allocated a geographic location. Scottish Water retains the right to ensure complete geographical coverage from the framework.

Water sampling kiosks are used to monitor the water quality produced at Scottish Water sites and within its networks. It is important that sampling kiosks are of sufficient quality to provide accurate samples for analysis and meet regulatory compliance requirements. A standard product range (a complete design with full support documentation) will be used to ensure efficient delivery of quality compliant standardised kiosks that provide a safe and effective working environment for samplers across the Scottish Water estate.

The scope will include but is not limited to:
1.Off-site fabrication/assembly of Water Sampling Kiosks including associated components, pipe work, sample taps, electrical installation, and control systems.
2. Water sampling kiosks of various options including,
•Various sizes including walk-in, floor standing, and wall mounted.
•Non powered suitable for extracting water sample based on available pressure.
•Mains powered to enable a pumped water sample.
•Solar panel powered with batteries, where robust ethical supply chain sourcing can be assured/certified.
3. Production of products/equipment that is fully compliant with Scottish Water’s specification.
4.Modular units are to be delivered, including off-loading, to site complete, tested, ready for installation and commissioning by others.
5.Factory finished assemblies to be developed using proprietary modular equipment and associated components sourced from Scottish Water’s current framework agreements and the open market.
6. Operation and Maintenance manuals to be provided.
7. The capabilities required from the supply chain partner include design, product development acceptance, implementation/user training and a strong and robust procurement and material planning capability.
