Scottish Water is using Delta eSourcing to run this tender exercise

Notice Summary
Title: GB-Scotland: Psychometric Testing and Assessment Provision
Notice type: Competitive Contract Notice
Authority: Scottish Water
Nature of contract: Not applicable
Procedure: Not applicable
Short Description: Summary of requirement We are seeking the provision of psychometric assessment instruments to support both talent identification, development and deployment, and our recruitment and selection processes. This service will provide us with access to assessments which enable an effective and consistent approach in relation to predicting employee performance and identifying their future potential. We are also seeking the provision of a range of psychometric assessment tools to support development planning and recruitment decisions. These need to include the ability to assess, for example, situational judgement, emotional intelligence, personality assessment, cognition assessment, as well as verbal and numerical reasoning. Provision should also include access to simulated situations which will support development, including for example group activities (online or in person), simulated in-tray exercises or interactive ‘day in the life of’ assessment activities. These assessments should be available online to allow access to identified participants, e.g. those identified through a development programme or applying via targeted recruitment campaigns such as our graduate or modern apprentice intakes. We will develop an internal pool of psychometric administrators and assessors. To support this, any provision would need to provide training to Scottish Water employees to enable us to administer the assessments and also analyse and provide feedback, on the outputs of the assessments. Methodology Through this procurement, we are seeking to improve our provision and ensure we can identify and utilise models and tools based on contemporary theories of psychology and psychometric science. These could for example include: a model to support the identification potential, one which could ideally be aligned to our Scottish Water (SW) behavioural characteristics; best practice selection, screening and assessment tools which support diversity and inclusion; and a range of psychometric tools to support personality profiling and talent development. Technical Requirements Please see the supporting document for full technical requirements. Required Service Model Please see the supporting document for full information on the required service model.
